ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The journal "Electromechanical Matters. VNIIEM Studies" (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) has been published since 1959. From 1959 to 2001, the Journal was issued as thematic collections of scientific works. Since 2001, it has been published under the title "Electromechanical Matters. VNIIEM Studies".

The scientific and technical Journal was founded and is published by the Joint Stock Company “Research and Production Corporation ‘Space Monitoring Systems, Information & Control and Electromechanical Complexes’ named after A.G. Iosifian” (JSC “VNIIEM Corporation”). Brief information about the history of JSC "VNIIEM Corporation" is available on the official website: www.vniiem.ru.

The Journal's Chief Editor is Leonid Alekseevich Makridenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences (D. Sc.), General Director (CEO) of JSC “VNIIEM Corporation”, and recipient of the Russian Federation Government Award. L. A. Makridenko is the author of over 150 academic works on the development and control of advanced modern technical and organizational systems.

JSC “VNIIEM Corporation” is one of Russia’s leading scientific and engineering centers specializing in electromechanics and electrotechnics. It is the main developer and manufacturer of hydro-meteorological and oceanographic space systems, space monitoring systems for heliogeophysical and environmental observations, as well as developer of information, control, and electromechanical complexes for various applications.

The Journal publishes papers on fundamental issues of electromechanics, space monitoring systems, information and control and electromechanical complexes, methods for product testing, electrical equipment and control and protection systems for nuclear power stations, as well as topics related to receiving and processing space data, electric pumping equipment, and equipment for the oil and gas industry.

The Journal is well recognized in the scientific community. Scientists and engineers from JSC “VNIIEM Corporation” and contributors from other organizations regularly publish here. To date, it has published papers by more than 500 authors.

It is a journal for engineers, CEOs, government executives, scientists, educators, and students in technical fields.

"Electromechanical Matters. VNIIEM Studies" is one of the few Russian journals dedicated to problems in electromechanics.

The editorial policy covers all main directions of electromechanics and publishes diverse materials related to the journal’s focus.
